Day 1 of the nation has started. A group of people, led by President Alex, has assembled to form the Alexian Nation. We have started by building a fire, hunting food, and building tents. We have knowledge of the world, and are ready to take over. Day 2 has started, and we were ready to continue our nation. We do not have much land to work with for the moment, but we will assemble troops to expand. Day 3 was spent by building up the tents, turning them into one central house where everyone sleeps. There are currently 20 people in the nation, and we have plenty of food. Day 4 was spent building weapons with wood that we got from sticks found around the small foresty area in our land. We were preparing to gain some more land. We also started farming, which will bring us more food, since meat won't be enough forever. Day 5 has started with half of us training for battle, and the other half continuing to gather resources from the area in our land. Day 6 has started, and this is the final time to prepare and train. Tommorow we will battle to expand our land. Day 7 has started with battle. We have pushed our 10 soldiers into a bit of territory from the Steve Nation. The Steve Nation sent 20 men from their closest city, Sprolk, to counter our 10 soldiers from our settlement, Alexia. Thankfully, with our training, we took control of a bit more land, which gave us access to a river that if followed long enough, would lead to Sprolk. We will use this as an advantage when we decide to destroy Sprolk.
Day 8 has started with us celebrating our victory. We quickly moved our farms to the river so they would grow more quickly, and we used wool to make string, to make fishing rods, which meant we now had access to fish as well. Numbers have grown. During the battle for more land, we lost 2 soldiers. However, a small group of travelers decided to join us, which brought our numbers up to 32. Day 9 started with the people building a small building for meetings, since this nation was democratic. During our first meeting, we decided that we need an area for people to live, and for the future kids to grow up. We also decided that the only way to get that area was to get more land. Day 10 started crazily. We discovered a cave in the ground, which gave us acces to rocks and other materials. Day 11 was spent forming stone tools, and more training for another attack to gain more land. Day 12 started with a stealth attack on the border of the Steve nation. Because of the stealth, we quickly surprised and overwhelmed the Steve Nation border guards, giving us more land. Day 13 was spent building houses. Unfortunately, we only got 3 of the 10 houses built because of the lack of resources. Day 14 started with a storm, forcing everyone into the houses and town hall. After the storm stopped, we all had a meeting, in which we decided to go off the radar of the steve nation and target unclaimed land to get more access to trees and other neccesary resources to finish the houses.
Day 15 was spent taking control of unclaimed forest territory and collecting more wood. We were also able to finish another house. Day 16 was also spent working on houses and because of the resource influx and the addition of more settlers, we were able to finish the houses. Day 17 was spent collecting more food and other resources and was also spent working on town hall of Alexia. It now had a domed roof, and was prepared to add wings to each side of the building for other things. Day 18 was a sad day for the Alexian Nation. A group of Steve Soldiers found the group, and launched a surprise attack. Many Alexian's died, but they managed to fight off the Steve Nation because of their amazing leader, General Alex. Day 19 was spent rebuilding what the Steve Nation destroyed. They had burned some houses down, like the HEARTLESS people they were. After a meeting, we knew what had to be done. We were going to Sprolk. Day 20 was spent recruiting soldiers and training them. We also sent a spy to get information. Day 21 was special. We discovered iron, and now made iron forged weapons for war. We also started expanding our fields with some land we gained when we took down the Steve forces.
Day 22 was important. Our spy had arrived back, and told us about the town of Sprolk. He also told us that he burned down some supplies, which would have helped Sprolk against our attack. Sprolk didn't know it was coming yet. Then we realized something, and had to have another meeting. If we decided to take over Sprolk, it would be a huge land gain, but the rest of the Steve Nation would declare war. We were not strong enough to fight them off yet, so we had to be careful. No news of Sprolk being taken over could reach the rest of the Steve Nation. Everyone in the Steve nation at Sprolk had to be converted into Alex's. Day 23 was spent assembling the forces of soldiers and preparing for the battle. As we went to Sprolk, we would take control of any Steve Nation camps so no news could reach Sprolk. Day 24 was spent marching. We found 2 other Steve Nation camps, and with our iron tools, quickly took over. We converted all of the Steve Soldiers into Alex soldiers, and were now ready. We ended the day camped outside of Sprolk. In the morning, we took over. Day 25 was crazy. We sieged the city of Sprolk, easily bypassing the walls. Their small army was not enough to stop ours, but they still did a bit of damage. After a long fought battle, we took control, turning everyone to Alex's. No information of Sprolk made it to the Steve Government, which meant we had a smashing victory. We quickly turned all the land around the river leading from Sprolk to Alexia into our land. Sprolk had now become a city in the Alexian Nation, and the Steve Government had no idea. Day 26 was another day spent on construction. We began building things along the river, like waterwheels and other important things. We also discovered gold, meaning we could do more trading. Day 27 was an important day. After meeting with the high council/government, we decided to build a border wall. Construction took all day, and we still didn't finish. Day 28 was also spent building, and again, we still didn't finish.
Day 29 was spent building, and after working all day, we finally finished the border walll. And just in time!. Day 30 was a battle. A small group of Steve Nation soldiers had attacked, but they couldn't get through our walls. We had a problem now. Some soldiers from the Steve Nation had survived, and were retreating. We sent people to stop them, but they came back empty handed. Day 31 was a lucky break. We got reports that the Steve Soldiers retreated to Sprolk, and got taken down by Alexian Forces there. However, we were running out of food, and had to expand our farms again. To feed all of our growing citizens, we bought food from a nation close by. Day 32 was spent recruiting more soldiers, since we were planning on taking even more land from the Steve Nation. Day 33 was spent on a grand project, improving the town hall. We added a second floor, kept the dome, and built the wings. We also built it out of stone, to keep it stronger. Day 34 was tragic. A Steve spy had broken into Alexia, and attempted to burn down the town hall. We were able to stop the fire easily, since the building was made of stone, but we weren't able to catch the spy. That was bad. Sources said that the spy had escaped by going through Sprolk, which meant that we were about to go to war with the Steve Nation. Day 35 was spent rebuilding the few things that got destroyed. We also made armor.
Day 36 was quiet. We took over new land. We also turned Sprolk into the home base for the Alexian army. We also started planning on taking over another Steve Camp, called Rollington. This camp was the base for the Southern Steve Army, and had to be destroyed if we wanted to take any other cities. Day 37 was spent training again. We had very elite soldiers, and were ready to begin our march. Day 38 was a march to Rollington. We arrived at night to see soldiers ready for us. Day 39 (night) was spent battling for Rollington. Their soldiers continued to keep us out by blocking the only way in. The walls were too high to climb, and we wouldn't be able to continue the attack forever. Thankfully, our spy saved us by finding a secret tunnel into the camp, and burning down some tents. He then used ropes to bring soldiers into the camp, meaning the soldiers of Rollington were trapped, boxed in on their left and right by their walls, and attacked by the front and back by soldiers of the Alexian Nation. Day 39 was a celebrated victory, since we had taken down Rollington. The rest of the Steve Nation was becoming more angry at all of the destruction we had done to them. Day 40 was spent expanding our territory and border walls, and building new houses. We also expanded our farms, and added a new rooms to the town hall. Day 41 was the beginning of a big project. We were making our first military training building. It needed barracks, a training field, and other things. Day 42 was also spent working on it, and it was finished.
Day 43 was another day spent taking more territory, chasing away Steve forces that were near Alexia. Day 44 was a battle, since a group of Steve Soldiers arrived at night and attacked Sprolk. We were able to beat them because of our walls and troops, and continued doing our normal day. Day 45 was spent working on our first school in the Alexian Nation. We also prepared an attack on Deurport, a port city from the Steve Nation a few miles away from Sprolk. It would be a key city, and with access to the ocean, would be an amazing trade oppurtunity. Day 46 was spent building boats, which would help take control of the ocean around Deurport. We also finished the school, and continued preparing soldiers for Deurport. We were only going to send 30 soldiers into Deurport, while the rest would stay outside, preventing anyone from escaping. Day 47 was a march. We arrived outside of Deurport, and waited. 30 soldiers charged the gate, quickly breaking in. We watched the glow of fire as several buildings burned down. But quickly, suddenly, it stopped. Fire was put out, and soldiers from Deurport were climbing to the top of the walls to survey the Alexian army. We had shields to prevent them from shooting at us with arrows, and since they didn't do anything, we didn't either. Day 48 was spent waiting. We assumed that the men we had sent in had all died to the Steve Nation. Unfortunately, we couldn't leave. We had to stay there so Deurport would surrender. If we didn't, they would send news to the Steve Nation capitol, Steveopolis, who would send soldiers to destroy us. Meanwhile back at Alexia, our president, Alex, was continuing to build the city. He began building more things to help the city. There was no news between the president and the General, so President Alex had no idea what was happening at Deurport. He just had to hope that it went in their favor. Day 49 was another waiting day. President Alex continued his projects, expanding the school and recruiting more soldiers. He also expanded houses, making them bigger to support bigger families. While this was happening, General Alex had some good news. After 2 straight days of waiting, the leader of Deurport had surrended. The Alex army quickly flooded the city, turning everyone to Alex's. The war was going very well for the Alex's, but how long would this luck continue.
Day 50 was another celebration. We now had 3 cities in the Alex nation, Alexia, Sprolk, and Deurport. We had amazing trades with other nations. And now, we controlled the coast of the Southern Steve Nation. Day 51 was brutal combat. A large group of the Steve Nation was spotted in fields a mile away from Alexia. General Alex quickly dispatched the army of the Alex's and engaged the Steve Soldiers in battle in the fields, 0.75 miles away from Alexia. Day 52 was the second day of combat. Neither army was winning yet, though both had heavy losses. President Alex had no idea of this, and sat in his office in town hall, waiting. On day 53, General Alex and a small group of Alex's returned, sadness on their faces. "We lost the battle," The General said, turning toward where the Steve Army would soon be arriving. "We must use our civilians to fight." President Alex nodded, then climbed the wall, watching the Steve Nation advance. Day 54 was weak combat. The weakened Steve army fough the civilians of Alexia, and slowly fell back. Though we had won, we sustained heavy losses. After another meeting, we decided to remake our army, recruiting more soldiers. Now, we didn't have enough people to farm for food, and food started falling short. To make it even worse, winter started. We were entering dark times in the Alexian Nation. On day 55, we realized something. We realized that during the winter, the Steve Nation would not be able to get to us, so we were safe from them. But we were running out of food. For the time, we decided to make our army into farmers, since we didn't have to worry about attack. Day 56 was spent farming more, until it started snowing. Then we worked on things inside buildings, so we wouldn't freeze outside.
Day 57 was continued farming, and working on buildings. It wasn't as cold, so we could work outside. Day 58 was kind of sad. There was a storm, and lightning struck a house, setting it on fire. The residents had to take refuge in town hall, while the rain put out the fire. Day 59 was spent building a graveyard to bury all of the dead soldiers. On day 60, we found a small group of dead Steve Soldiers just outside the walls. They must have been doing a raid, but couldn't make it through the cold. Day 61 was spent expanding the school, building a new one, and building a building for medicine people. Day 62 was spent reassembling our army, now that we had enough food and the population was growing. Day 63 was spent building a tower in the center of Alexia because why not.
Day 64 was spent working on our army and training it. We had one last city we wanted to take before making a peace treaty. We wanted to take Tanbu, which was a few miles away from Alexia. Day 65 was a march, even through the cold, we were able to make it to Tanbu, ready for battle. Day 66 was more combat. Tanbu didn't know we were coming, so they weren't ready. But we were kind of weak because we had marched through the cold. Nonetheless, after a hard fought battle, we won, taking control of Tanbu. Day 67 was spent writing a peace treaty, and continuing to work on the nation. On day 68 we sent the letter to the Steve Nation. On day 69 we got our response. Angry as they were, they decided to accept our 5 year peace treaty. Day 70 was our celebration, since we had survived 10 weeks. After this, we would continue to work on the nation. But that is a story for a different time.
